Timeline S8 – SPOILER ALERT

The eighth and final season of Fear The Walking Dead keeps on with a temporal continuation directly from the end of the previous season, in which we left Morgan and Madison hooded on a boat sailing towards PADRE.
Yet at the beginning of the first episode we see a big time jump of about seven years, which brings the story of FTWD more or less in the same time space as the end of the mother series.
In this epic, glorious final season of FTWD we will see our beloved protagonists challenge the suffocating power of PADRE that subjugates and subdues individuality and feelings. Fight for a new, unexpected freedom will be their strongest instinct.
In the second part, the return of a bad guy from the past will challenge the group’s tenacity and instinct for survival even more.

May 12th, 2014
Morgan and Madison are captured and subjected to harsh interrogation by PADRE’s soldiers. Under duress, Morgan relents and reveals the location of his companions’ rafts, but later repents and, with Madison’s help, kidnaps little Mo and escapes into the swamps.
July 15th, 2021
Seven years later, Mo (now called Wren and trained by PADRE) discovers Madison locked away in an underground cell. The two manage to escape from the fortified island and embark on a risky escape into the Louisiana swamps, where they track down a lonely Morgan.
July 17th, 2021
As the group risks drowning and being overwhelmed, Grace intervenes with a truck and saves everyone from the swamp walkers. The escape, however, is short-lived: to save the lives of her companions, Mo decides to voluntarily surrender to PADRE, while Madison is arrested again.
July 19th, 2021
June, who has been waging a one-man guerrilla war for years, sabotaging PADRE from the outside, stumbles upon Dwight, Sherry, and their son, Finch. The situation escalates when Shrike, PADRE’s ruthless leader, deliberately infects Finch with a walker bite to blackmail June.
July 24th, 2021
Mo bravely intervenes to prevent Madison and June’s execution within the island’s confines. The three manage to escape to the mainland and join a large group of rebels and early resistance fighters, led by Daniel.
July 27th, 2021
Morgan returns to King County, to the house where she met Rick, and puts an end to Duane’s unlife. Together with Grace and Mo, she reunites with Dwight, Sherry, and Finch, who appears to have recovered from the infection thanks to June’s experimental treatments; however, during their escape from the swamps, Grace is bitten.
July 28th, 2021
Despite desperate medical efforts, Grace fails to respond to June’s emergency radiation treatment and dies, reviving before being struck down by Mo. At the same time, Finch’s condition deteriorates dramatically as the infection resurfaces.
July 29th, 2021
Mo lures a huge horde into the swamp, where Shrike is bitten by her zombie father, marking PADRE’S collapse. Finch dies in the arms of his grieving parents, prompting Dwight and Sherry to separate; Morgan and Mo, after burying Grace, set off for Alexandria, in Virginia.
November 20th, 2021
Madison reunites with Victor, who has rebuilt his life and identity within a German tourist community. The respite is short-lived: Madison discovers that Troy survived the dam explosion in Mexico and is on his trail, seeking personal revenge.
November 24th, 2021
While looking for fuel, Madison’s group finds Luciana who for all these years has worked in the shadows for PADRE, in charge of a large network of refineries. Also with her is Charlie, who, treated by June, survived the exposure to the tower’s radiation. The young woman has a rough confrontation with Madison when the latter discovers that she is responsible for Nick’s death. In the end Charlie sacrifices herself by committing suicide to save PADRE from Troy.
December 1st, 2021
Dwight arrives at his old house where he used to live with Sherry and then continues towards the Sanctuary, where he finds all the ghosts of his past. He is joined by Sherry, June and Dove who beg him to go back to fight the war against Troy. 
December 5th, 2021
Troy tries to push a horde towards PADRE, but is killed by Madison. Little Tracy shoots Madison to avenge her father’s death, but Alicia’s old medallion that Madison keeps in her pocket stops the bullet and saves the woman. 
December 6th, 2021
Madison manages to lure the horde inside PADRE’s walls and blows the place up. Everyone thinks she is dead but Tracy pulls her out of the rubble and rescues her. 
December 15th, 2021
Alicia finds her mother and Tracy, and reunites with them. The group gains again and PADRE is renamed MADRE, in honor of Madison and Alicia who everyone thinks are both dead. Everyone will go his own way.
June and Dove reach John’s cabin.
Daniel and Luciana go away together.
Dwight and Sherry return to the Sanctuary.
Victor leaves with his family.
Madison, Alicia and Tracy decide to go back to Los Angeles.
