Timeline The Walking Dead | Season Five


Timeline S5 – SPOILER ALERT

Escaped the danger of Terminus, in the fifth season of The Walking Dead we find Rick’s group back on the street in search of a home.
What the characters will have to deal with most in this season will be the progressive loss of humanity towards their fellowmen, with whom they no longer know how to measure themselves now that they are faced with a semblance of new-found normality (Alexandria).
The arrival of new characters and Morgan’s unespected return, flavor one of the most popular seasons ever.
Below is a summary of the most important events of the timeline TWD’s Fifth Season.

December 28th, 2011
Rick’s group manages to escape Terminus by force thanks to Carol’s timely intervention. After reuniting in the surrounding woods, the group quickly makes their way away, leaving the now destroyed and flame-filled cannibal settlement behind.
December 29th, 2011
While marching through the woods, the group encounters Father Gabriel and saves him from a walkers attack. The priest decides to lead them to his barricaded church and shelter them; however, that same night, Bob is bitten, captured by Terminus survivors, and ultimately dies in the arms of his companions.
December 30th, 2011
While Daryl and Carol track down the mysterious car with the white cross to find Beth in Atlanta, Carol is also hit by an enemy vehicle. Injured and unconscious, she is rescued and forcibly admitted to the same secure hospital where Beth is being held captive.
December 31st, 2011
Rick’s tense hostage exchange at Grady Memorial Hospital ends in tragedy. During the confrontation, Beth is killed by Agent Dawn, prompting Daryl’s immediate reaction, who kills her in turn. During the dramatic evacuation, young Noah decides to leave the hospital and joins the group.
January 17th, 2012
Attempting to escort Noah home to his old fortified neighborhood in Virginia, the group finds the community completely wiped out. While searching the boy’s childhood home, Tyreese is surprised and bitten on the arm by a walker; immediate amputation of the limb isn’t enough to stem the infection, and he dies on the way.
January 23rd, 2012
As they march, exhausted, dehydrated, and without resources, toward Washington, D.C., the survivors are approached by Aaron and Eric. The two strangers introduce themselves as official recruiters from a safe house and, after convincing Rick of their good faith, lead the entire group to the gates of the Alexandria Safe-Zone.
January 31st, 2012
During a dangerous supply run outside Alexandria to retrieve electronic components, the cowardice and inexperience of the community’s residents leads to disaster. Following an accidental explosion and the ensuing panic, both Noah and the leader’s son, Aiden, are trapped and brutally devoured by walkers.
February 1st, 2012
As tensions grow between the newcomers and the established residents following the deaths of Aiden and Noah, Carl explores the woods surrounding Alexandria. During his solo outing, he encounters Enid, an orphaned girl who lived alone outside and is welcomed into the community.
February 2nd, 2012
The situation in Alexandria comes to a head during a town meeting, where a violent verbal and physical confrontation with the violent Pete culminates in Rick killing Pete on Deanna’s orders. Following this show of force, Rick establishes himself as the community’s new military leader, the very same night Morgan makes his unexpected arrival in Alexandria.
