SPOILER ALERT
April 2013
After meeting Isabelle, Al records an interview with herself, confessing that she places her trust in the future and reiterating the importance of interviews for future generations.
In different moments after the apocalypse
Al interviews Ed, a former actor trying to return to his family in Texas. In exchange for the interview, Al offers him some noodles and a ride to his hometown, Tyler.
Al interviews C.J. and Earl, a curious pair of travelers. The young woman was saved by the older man during a difficult time in her wandering, and from that moment on, they never left each other’s side, becoming each other’s defense.
Al interviews Clark, a family man and former bank manager, now living in a secluded cabin with his wife and two children. He has left his hideout to check if the vault of his bank is still where he left it.
Al interviews Jody, a former surgeon who amputated her own arm after being bitten by her turned husband. Despite her disability, she remains confident in her ability to help others.
Al interviews Samora, a young woman who, even before the apocalypse, suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder and who, 46 days earlier, had inadvertently caused the death of her sister. After contemplating suicide, she saw a plane flying over the mountains (FTWD 5) and stubbornly decided to reach it, eventually joining Althea’s community.
P.S.: The dates in the timeline are approximate, but everything happened more or less around those days.
