Timeline The Walking Dead | Season Two

The gore becomes more intense, the fear gets unbearable, despair is invasive among the characters in this second season of The Walking Dead.
We meet one of the most iconic places in the entire saga, Hershel's farm.
Warm, welcoming, familiar but at the same time terrifying, dark and dangerous... as its barn.
We get to know better today beloved characters like Daryl and Carol, among the longest-lived ones in the series, while Shane shows the darker side of him.
Below is a summary of the most incisive events in the timeline of the Second Season of TWD.
PS: the dates are approximate but more or less it all happened in those days.

October 9th, 2010
Sophia scared by a horde escapes into the fields. That same day she will be bitten and die.
October 10th, 2010
Carl is wounded by a shotgun. The group finds shelter and help on Hershel's farm.
October 11th, 2010
Lori realizes she is expecting a baby.
October 12th, 2010
Glenn discovers that the barn is full of zombies.
October 14th, 2010
All walkers locked up in the barn are released and shot down. Sophia is among them.
October 24th, 2010
Dale is attacked by a zombie and dies.
October 25th, 2010
Rick confronts Shane and kills him. That same night the farm will be overrun and  goes up in flames.
