Timeline The Walking Dead - Dead City | Season Two
SPOILER ALERT
After a time jump of over a year from the end of the previous season, The Walking Dead – Dead City returns with the second long-awaited season.
Negan is held prisoner by the Croat and the Lady, while Maggie is forced to join the forces of New Babylon. Alliances between opposing and threatening groups, eccentric and privileged characters, forces that shift power and exploitation of new raw materials such as ethanol, will be the main elements of a season that promises to be full of surprises and that will plunge us back into the chilling dark side of Negan.
Here are the main events of the Second Season of The Walking Dead - Dead City.

November 7th, 2025
For over a year, Negan has been imprisoned by the Croat and Dama. He refused the woman's proposal to lead an alliance between the various tribes that gravitate towards Manhattan, to unite them against the war towards the New Babylon Federation. In the meantime, Maggie has returned to Bricks together with Hershel and Ginny.
November 9th, 2025
In Bricks, Maggie is forced to be part of an investigative expedition organized by the New Babylon Federation to investigate the new ethanol business that is spreading in Manhattan.
November 11th, 2025
Forced by Dama's threats to involve Annie and their son Joshua, Negan decides to take the field as the leader of the various New York factions, including the one led by the eccentric Bruegel.
Maggie, Hershel, Ginny, and Perlie are the only survivors of the old New Babylon group. They are sought out, captured, and taken to Bruegel's headquarters, the Met Art Museum. Bruegel proposes a deal with New Babylon on the exploitation of methane, in exchange for the annihilation of Negan, the Croat, and their troops.
At the same time, the latter discuss how to handle things now that Dama is dead. Negan will eventually remove the Croat from Manhattan where he will remain as the sole leader.
November 24th, 2025
Annie and Joshua have been taken to Manhattan. Negan secretly sees them but orders them to be taken back to Tennessee. Meanwhile, Hershel has escaped with the intent of reuniting with Dama, not knowing that the woman is dead. Maggie sets out on his trail.
November 15th, 2025
The New Federation expedition prepares to dock in Manhattan with a boat, but Maggie expresses her disagreement with the operation as she is sure that the Croat already knows of their arrival. Meanwhile, she discovers that Hershel has followed the expedition. While attempting to cross at night, the boat is intercepted and sunk by Negan and the Croat. A small group of survivors including Maggie, Hershel and Ginny, save themselves on the shores of Manhattan with a lifeboat.
November 16th, 2025
Sebastian is taken prisoner and brought in front of Dama. The woman, knowing that Negan tried to save Hershel from the sinking of the boat, coldly kills Victor as a warning.
November 23rd, 2025November 17th, 2025
Maggie and her group venture into Central Park, which is now a wild jungle full of walkers. Charlie is killed while the rest of the group is saved by a community that lives inside the park, led by Roksana. Meanwhile, the Croat sends Negan on the group's trail. When Hershel, left alone in the vegetation, finds himself in danger, it will be Negan who saves him.
November 20th, 2025
Lady, the Croat and Negan meet with Bruegel to find a coalition agreement between the two groups.
November 22nd, 2025
Narvaez imprisons all of Roksana's people, and arrests Perlie and Maggie for treason, while the Croat organizes an ambush against Christos and his men, killing them all and saving only the women and children of the community.
Narvaez has Roksana executed, but the wailing of the members of her community attracts the walkers of the park who attack and kill almost everyone.
While Maggie, Perlie, Hershel and Jinny manage to escape, Narvaez is killed by a mutated Roksana.
Negan manages to turn the Croat and the Lady against each other, triggering a fight between the two, which leads to a fire in the woman's room who remains trapped, without the Croat helping her.
